Camp for Peace Liberia rolls out Liberia Access to Justice Project in Lofa County

CAMP FOR PEACE LIBERIA has rolled out the Liberia Access to Justice Program in Lofa County.
After an intensive and engaging seven days of Community Justice Advisors Training in Gbarnga, Bong County by The Carter Center, Camp for Peace Liberia has finally deployed its Community Justice Advisors into the 7 Administrative Districts of Lofa County.
The project, which The Carter Center supports, seeks to positively interact with government officials, courts, and traditional authorities; apply alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and advocate for justices. It will also ensure that vulnerable citizens’ rights, legal protection, and psychological well-being are enhanced.

It is often said that it is one thing to go to school or learn a trade, and it is another thing to put into practice what one learns. These young people have demonstrated to the highest that life opportunity is possible once it is dedicated to commitment, honesty, sincerity, and sacrifice. They are now cultivating and showcasing what they have learned and labored for. Therefore, we invite partnership and collaboration to expand and sustain the potentiality of this initiative that aims to improve food security in Liberia.
